Twins

I used Close To My Heart designer paper that has been sitting in my stash for quite some time. The booties were cut on my silhouette as well as the nestie shapes and Twins sentiment. Distressing ink and faux stitching was added to edges . Martha Stewart punches were used to make the heart and eyelet border. To ruffle the eyelet border I simply laid down some tape and gathered the border as I went along. I adhered the strip with sentiment  using dimensionals.
Sorry the photos are so bad. I left my good camera at my daughters house.

LET IT SNOW

Can you believe it. This card took me only 5 minutes. Base card and snowman are embossed using my cuttlebug. I added dimensions behind snowman and a touch of glitter on the flakes. The hardest part was punching two small holes on the fold of the card and tying the ribbon.

Fungi

Here is the second image from the Progressive Challenge # 22 that was generously donated from Digi Stamps For Joy called Toadstool Thicket. The image was colored using copics and the designer paper is from  DCWV Four Season Stack.  Although the colors are vibrant they  are more subtle than what the photo depicts. They are much deeper. less brilliant and  more manly as I plan on using it for a male. (my photo skills are limited I'm afraid.)

Sew Happy

Here we are moving along to the next leg of the Progressive Challenge over at Crafters Digital Art Centre. We have two fab images this round to choose from. This image ( A Stitch in Time) was provided from Pattie's Creations.

I used copics to color,  and faux stitching to frame the image. The designer paper is from Recollections Regent Street  paper pack. Because of the busy paper I decided to keep simple embellishmentsusig only a  sheer ribbon bow. Sentiment is from Close To My Heart.

Mr. & Mrs

I colored the image using copics. I used Viva pearl pen on brides necklace and gelly roll clear star pen to top of her dress. The lapels on the tux as well as the double hearts on both front and inside card  had shine and dimension added to them by using Inksentials glossy accents. The  hearts were then embellished with red gems.   I cut the flourish mat and double hearts with my Silhouette Cameo.

Have a Delicious Day

Stamp Fairy has the cutest bear images this is one of a few that I have.  This one is called Barry Birthday. The image was colored using copics. The designer paper I used is DCWV Tis the Season Paper pack. I love the vibrant cheery colors on the paper. Perfect for a childs birthday.  The sheen on the noses are made with Inksentials glossy accents. I added Crystal Glitter Ritz on the hats and used Viva pearl pen dots around the image.
The sentiments are Hero Arts and Print Works

Pretty As a Pigture

I decided to use this image from Doodle Pantry once again this time to make a more feminine card. This image was donated to the participants of the Crafters Digital Art Centres Progressive Challenge. As long as you participate you will continue to receive the next quality image to use for the next challenge. Its a Win Win situation don't you think. Also you have the opportunity to see how others choose to design their cards using the same images. Image was colored using copics, the designer paper is from DCWV Garden Tea Party Stack. I used My silhouette to cut the frame around the image and embellished with adhesive pearls. Ribbon is Celebrate Occasions room Michaels.
I know my sentiment is sooooo corny. Sorry I couldn't help myself.
