OSCARS' NIGHT

Instead of using designer paper I decided to dry emboss  Close  to My Heart (white center) cardstock. I used the Oscar stamp from Stamp Fairy added a touch of glitter . I embellished with buttons, velvet ribbon and a shinny netting.

This Yoga digi stamp is from Sassy Studio Designs. The  DP is from the Wild rasberry collection K&C Company. I quilled a few flowers to co-ordinate with the paper and added  embellishments of gems.a ribbon bow and gathered eylet border punch

WAY TO GO

It is very popular for boys to read about wizards these days. I added a little vintage look to this Z fold card by using distress inks and torn cardboard. The blue cardstock was embossed. Both the wizard and the book are digi stamps from Tiddly Inks. The background clock stamp is from Close To My Heart as well as liquid glass on the glasses

Still Hot

One of the many Stella stamps at Bugaboo. She reminds me of me( When I'm much older of course)  I'm not exactly sure what this card is called, but I call it a flip card. Embellised it in red ribbons and sticker gems

BOOKMARKS

THOUGHT I'D MAKE A COUPLE OF BOOKMARKS FOR THE TIDDLY INKS CHALLENGE.  BOOKMARKS ARE SO SIMPLE TO MAKE AND THE KIDS REALLY LIKE THEM. I HAVE TWO GRANDCHILDREN GOING TO SCHOOL THIS YEAR, ONE BOY AND ONE GIRL. BOTH THE APPLE AND THE BOOK WERE CUT ON MY  CRICUT.

I used the sketch from Pink Gem designs to help me with this card using Sassy Cheryls Bubble Blower stamp.  She was so much fun to color. Added a few flowers from Close To My Heart and large brads.

SUMMERTIME

 

Where I live in Canada there is only a little over a month left of summer if we are lucky.  I made this step card using the Bugaboo sunduck digi stamp. The sun cutting file is from Stinkin Cute Paper piecings and the sentiments stamp Summertime is from Close To My Heart . I used a little glitter on the sun as well as liquid glass on the glasses. The back border is actually a pocket  that holds the summertime tag(reverse of tag has Birthday sentiment)

Celebrate the Season

Snowflake Easle card was cut from an SVG file designed by Cricutlover. Oscar the  Bear is a digi stamp from The Stamp Fairy. I used prisma markers  to color the stamp and added little dots of glitter to snowflakes.

The latest freebie from A Day For Daisies. Found this paper in my stash , added a half doily on each  side panel  as well as  punched borders. I wraped my designer string around on both ends.

Watermelon Sitter

Another Rocker card this time using A Bugaboo Brat. I cut the watermelon on Cricket and just made it into a card

This is something I wanted to try on this stamp for awhile and Mo's challenge has motivated me to do so. The white base was embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder. I raised the framed image using a white colored foam board bought at Michaels Crafts ( I don't like using dimensionals on large images as I think they are easier to damage) and then  I dotted a blue background to make the image pop.

PRETTY IN PINK

Here is another dress from Michelle Perkette. The challenge this week was to give a vintage look to your card.  Not too sure if I succeeded, but the dress kind of reminds me of one my mother had worn(Maybe not as bright of pink) but she loved polka dots for some reason.  Anyway I guess its nostalgic for me. "Polka dots make you go blind!"

LIL DANCER

This card was made for the Sassy Cherlyl challenge.I love all the  characters that show a sense of humorThe stitched flowers as well as the stitching along th edge was made from a Close To My Heart stamp set called Simple Stitches.

CELEBRATE

As soon as saw these little nuns I knew I had to have them. They just seem to make you smile. I added a little glitter on the shoes just to add a bit more fun. The box is pretty basic with a little ribbon around it as and a bow on the top

Puppy set

I made this set of inchie cards for the Tiddly Inks latest challenge. I kept them simple because I wanted the card to focus on the stamp. You can never have too many gift or note cards.

Prom

This was an experiment. It actually looked better in my mind.  I think I went overboard with glitter and I'm not too sure what to put in the bare spots or if I should put anything in the bare spots.  Any ideas ??

Formal

I am using this card for two challenges THE SOUTHERN GIRLS  Black & White Challenge, as well as DO YOU STACK UP Embossing Challenge. As you can see I used black & white with a touch of pink. I embossed with the Cuttlebug then heat embossed over that with black sparkle embossing powder and wrapped it with ruffled lace & sequin ribbon. 

Birthday Dress

This card is using a very versitile digi stamp from Sassy Studio Design.  (1 of 3 of the cards I have already made using this stamp ) In this challenge they asked to make a birthday themed card using the August Birthsone color  Peridot. I used a pink base with K & C Company patterned adhesive paper and added just a touch of sparkle to it along with a light bow.

Get Better

Another skelekinz stamp by Bugaboo. I used the color combination of turqouise, kraft and vanilla.  I distressed all edges well as using distressing ink. The little bit of cardboard was added for texture.

Made this card for the latest Stamp Fairy Sketch Challenge. This is as cute as a Skull can get. I think this card is funny(in a Quirky sorta way) I just hope the recipient has a really good sense of humor. He! He!

A Dogs Love

I love all the children as well as the elderly at Mo's Digital Pencil,I used this adorable stamp  for the Easle card Challenge at MOS DIGITAL PENCIL as well as  CRAFT US CRAZY. I found this color combination by accident and I think I like it.

Fairie Potion - Feeling and(Folding) Fancy

This Fairy digi from A Day For Daisies just looked so calm. I decided to keep the colors really soft. I added a little sparkle to the potion as well as liquid glass to the bottle and wrapped ribbon around each of the panels with a bow on the front. 

Cheesy

Such a fun Bugaboo stamp. Perfect for a little boy. The card base was cut to look like cheese, because everone knows the moon is made with cheese

Best Day Ever

I thought this digi was great just the way it is so I decided to keep it simple.  I enlarged the stamp so that it took up the majority of space on the card. It was colored simply with ribbon and a border for embellishments. I folded the front of the card over to make a pocket for a money card. The stamp is by Digistamp4joy. It is one of the many free digistamps provided for the CDAC Progressive challenges.

CDAC Progressive Challenge

This is my first entry into theCDAC Progressive challenge. I used Priscilla Styles Victorian fan with my favorite color combinations. I cut the fan into sections and backed them with black cardstock to give the fan a little depth and then Iadded gems for a little bling

Rock Me

I made this card for the Stamp Fairy Color Challenge. This card was sooo easy , I simply used a circle and a scalloped circle folded in half along with this cute peapod digi from Stamp Fairy.

Water

This card was made for the Bugaboo Make a Splash challenge.

I made the base of this card out of acetate. I added liquid glass to the water as well as the sunglasses. The cute little Bugaboo stamp was raised slightly with 3-D dots.
