Wings of the Butterfly

Image from A Day For Daisies and was colored using copics. I really like the  matching designer papers ( Recollections) especially the one with the glossy embossed butterflies. I added glitter to the potion as well as a couple of layers of liquid glass to it to make it shine like glass.

The glitter on both the butterflies  and doilies  die cuts were heat embossed with Judikins Mystique embossing powder .  the card was finished  off with a simple ribbon faux bow.

Tooth Fairy

I love all the dreamy, Mythical images from A Day for Daisies and this little Tooth Fairy is adorable. The image is one of  the generously donated stamps from the CDAC Progressive challenge # 18.  The tooth Fairy was colored using copics.  I decided to keep it simple and used only one color K & Company designer paper. I love this color combination and the worn out print pattern of butterflies, flowers and very understated polka dots fits beautifully with this image. I tried to draw the color out by outlining each piece in purple cardstock. The card was embellished with crystal gems and  glitterjust to give it a little bling without going overboard.

Thanks For Being There

This is my first entry into the latest CDAC Progressive Challenge #12 and this is such an awesome image from A Day For Daisies. The inside image was  a freebie from ADFD site as well. I find the images drawn by Tammy Thompson are so calming and her lines just flow effortlessly. The sentiment is from (friendship sentiment set) Kaisercraft.
The image was colored using copics with glitter on the dresses. I pierced the edge of the white cardstock and embellished using a number of small pieces of glitter ribbon.

Wishing you

A bit of holiday, a bit of red.  This little stocking is the latest freebie at A Day for Daisies. I used it both on the inside & outside of the card. The designer paper I used was from My minds Eye, ribbon from the dollar store. The poinsettia was cut on my cricut with an SVG file from Penny Duncan.
