Saving Santa

TOO FUNNY!! I love the humor in this awesome Sassy Cheryl christmas image"Saving Santa elf". I bought it a long time ago and I'm not too sure if you can even get it anymore.  It was colored it using copics.

The FaLaLa lettersize card is a Silhouette cut file. It's great that you can use a regular envelope to mail and send cash or a check in it without having to pay for extra postage.

I added liquid glass to the fa la la (as well as the balloon) not only to make it pop but to also add a little firmness to it. The designer paper was just pieces of Christmas scraps I had left over, sorry I don''t remember where I got it from. The card was finished off using a scrap of lace.

The sentiment is a Stampendous rubber stamp.

Refuse To Grow Up!!

Thats the attitude!! I don't want to grow up either.  Inside all of us older people is an inner child just like this adorable digi from Mo's Digital Pencil. This is two Tasha.  The image was colored using copics with a touch of glitter added to the crown, as well I surounded the image with liquid pearl dots to draw attention to her.

The image was matted first on a light yellow spellbinder die cut and then on a silhouette mat and card. I finished the card off with a bow and  my own sentiment.

Yellow is not a color I use very often but the DP2  Challenge this month is to use Mo's favorite color, so I thought I would give it a try. I find yellow hard to work with but, after looking at DP2s'  design team cards as well as other entrants I can see how beautiful yellow looks when it is used properly. OH Sigh!

Whopee!!

Too funny!! Mo's hilarious digi stamp Whoopee! portrays what I feel like on my birthday, Tee Hee!  If you get her counterpart (Yeehaw!) then you have a perfect set of digs to use for my age group. The designer paper is from GCD Studio and glitter paper from DCWV and  the doily was cut on my Silhouette Cameo.
The image was colored once again using copics  with glitter added to both the hat and eyeshadow.  I-rock studs were used for the earrings and buttons as well as the corners.
Sometimes I like to make my own sentiments with specific people in mind, so that is what I did with this one.

ENJOY YOUR DAY

Another awesome image from Mo's Digital pencil, this time a more manly card. I always seem to make a lot more cards for children, babies and women. I colored this image using Copics, framed with Spell binder dies and Tim Holtz distressing Ink. Finished with stick on Gems. I actually had this made a few days ago and almost forgot to enter it in DP2 challenge.

May All Your Wishes Come True

Isn't she adorable!!! I just love love love this little one. She is a Mo Manning Digi  called PLEASE. How could you say no to that face. Tee! Hee!

As usual I colored her using copics,  I painted on Close To My Heart glitz liquid to her outfit and shoes because my three grandaughters tell me glitter is very fashionable in clothing and shoes these days. I used pearl pen dots surrounding the image.   The sentiment is from Studio .
The frame, ribbon and flowers were all cut on my Silhouette Cameo and ten I finished it off with a double wire bow.

DO NOT DISTURB!

Everyone knows the terrible twos.  Jill is a wonderful image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I bought it in a set of four adorable childhood images. If looks could kill he! he! Once again I am entering this project into the DP2   Challenge and Guest Designer Team call.

Image was colored using copics, then cut , mounted on black cardstock and adhered to base using action wobbles. (The harder the door closes the more Jill shakes.) This feature is not recommended for teenagers.

Door hanger, sentiment and doily were cut using Silhouette Cameo.  I typed the sentiment in Silhouette Studio, welded them together and used the offset function as well to add second and third layer. (Desdemona font) I can't believe how easy it is to do.

I added drywall tape on the two layers of cardstock not only to add texture but for strength as well9 no designer paper). Then I finished off with a simple  bow.

On the back of the hanger there is a pocket where you can leave a note

I made this for my  grandaughters who love their sisters dearly but sometimes just need their own space.

Live Joyfully!

Another fabulous image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I love, love, love  Mummu. I think she is my favorite character, although Jack and Ginger, Oskar, the fairies, all the children and babies at Mo's shop are more of my favorites. So I guess in other words I love all Mo's Characters.  I think the reason why I am so fond of  Mo's art is because I can relate to her characters and images, each one kind of tells a story to me. Although I only have 17 of them but I have used each of my small collection over & over again. I buy one and she makes 10 more I that I want ARGG!!

ANYWAY I  colored this image using copics and added a popped out second layer to both her back and the bike fender using dimensional two sided tape.  I coated each additional piece with Inksentials glue and seal making them more pliable and strong before adding to the original image.

I used K & Company designer paper as well as  Recollections ribbon and gems.  The mat that I mounted Mummu on was cut on my Silhouette Cameo and behind that I used some burlap tape borrowed from my husbands garage.

I finished the front card off with a few sunflowers also cut on my Silhouette with added flowersoft to the centers an glossy accent to the bike fender.

The sentiment on inner card is from TLC Creations who graciously provide the most awesome free sentiments almost every day. A big THANK YOU to TLC!!

I am using this card to once again enter it in the DP2  guest designer Team challenge.

Keep Rockin! or Keep Rocking

This awesome digital image is one of Mo Mannings finest. I just love it!! I think I even know this guy. LOL!! I colored this image using copics and added a touch of glitter to the hat. The designer paper used is Authentique and  a piece of DCWV glitter matstack paper.  The banner die from poppystamps was cut using glitter paper also. The embellishments consist of some glitter i-rocks used as buttons on the shirt along with three larger ones on the right corner.
The inside sentiment is mine as well as the crude looking rocking chair.

I have been a fan of Mo Mannings art work for quite some time now and I am using this card in her latest challenge at DP2 on the off chance that I might be chosen as one of the guest designers over the next few months.  A person can dream. Tee! Hee!

BEST CAKE EVER!!

From the moment I first layed eyes on this cutie  from Mo's digital pencil I knew I had to have her.  the name of this image is Fabulous and she is!  Not only is she adorable but this image reminds me so much of my granddaughter that I couldn't resist.
The image was colored using copics with a touch of glitter added to the boots, hair ties and flower. I also added glossy accents to the glasses. Birthday banner and balloons were cut using my Silhouette Cameo. I finished  off with a bold purple ribbon(Purple is my granddaughters favorite color) and pearl pen dots surrounding the image.

I have made this pop up cake on a number of occasions, it certainly is a lot easier than it looks. There is a great how to tutorial and template on Extreme Cards & Papercrafting. You will find many more wonderful projects and ideas there as well.

Santa Gus

Oh Santa is that where your  belly comes from??
Gus is one of my favorite character images by Bugaboo. I just love the outrageous sentiments that go along with his images as well. I colored the image using copics and added liquid glass to the bottles and liquid applique to the fur trim. The designer paper is from the  DCWV Tis the Season Paper pack. I added i-rock brads to the corners to finish the card off.

Inside sentiment is an old Michaels dollar stamp.

Ray of Bloody Sunshine

I just love this fabulous image provided by Rick St Dennis at Airless Chambers for the July Saturday Freebe Contest. This dragon was  so much fun to work with because you can
mix just about any color together and it still looks fabulous. Thank you Rick. I used copics on the image and framed it with a spellbinder die cut. The designer paper is K & Company. I embellished with purple embossed drywall tape and two different sizes of oddly placed black i-rock brads.

This gorgeous image is one of my favorites from Free Vintage Stamp blog. I lightly colored the corset using two shades of pink copics and then distressed the edges using Tim Holts ink. After I was satisfied with the distressing I used a doublesided sticky sheet and covered the surface with glass beads. Designer paper from K & Company, silver doilies from Wilton,  gems and gem flourish from Recollections.  I finished the front off with a satin bow.

Killer Bo Peep

Killer Bo Peep Image was donated for the Freaky Freebie Friday Challenge at Smeared and Smudged Forum.  The nose ring along with the ringlets did it for me !!
I colored the image with copic markers and added a touch of glitter to her staff.  The tombstone as well as the scared looking lamb were cut using my silhouette. Designer paper used - DCWV glitter paper and K & Company. The flowers I embellished with are made using  Memory Box flower die and I simply just added a few very small feathers under them to finish the card off.
